I know that Edmonton is on a long road trip and they are coming off a tough loss last night, but they are still playing pretty good hockey right now. Pitt is coming off several days rest, however, Pitt tends not to come back as sharp on several days rest. On the other hand, Edmonton plays better after allowing at least 5 goals in the previous game, I am sure that has to do with the team making a more concerted effort to control the puck, avoid turnovers, and play better defense. Pitt has struggled against the Western conference going 3-7 in their last 10. Take Edmonton here to pull the upset.

Result Pitt 5 Edm. 4
Florida (+110) at Los Angeles:
This is a game between two teams who are really struggling right now as Florida has lost four in a row and LA has lost five in a row. Florida is starting the west coast swing and should be due for win playing a very weak and struggling LA team. Florida has played well against teams with losing records and there aren’t many teams playing as bad as LA. Make a small play on Florida here.
