Edmonton at Columbus (-110)
Posted by Brandon Phillips in NHL Picks on November 5th, 2008 | Comment »Both of these teams have struggled to get things going in the right direction this season. Edmonton has either been hot or cold; they have won three, lost five, and won two. Columbus has not been much better, but they have been more consistent. Columbus has lost their last two, one in a shoot-out and one in overtime. Columbus’s defense has been much better at home allowing almost a goal less. They have been stronger killing power plays than Edmonton. Edmonton is on a seven game road trip and there are sure to be some let downs during their long travels. Take Columbus in this spot.
