Washington (+100) at Calgary

However, no money bet is no money loss and we can look to continue our hot streak with another strong pick tonight. Washington lost their last game out in OT verse the Devils and now they travel west for three games. Washington’s offense has looked strong scoring an average of 4 goals per game. Calgary’s defense is giving up over 4 goals per game. If the Capitals can take advantage of poor defense play from the Flames then they should be able to score several goals. As is almost always the case, the underdog’s defense will be critical to getting the win. Washington’s defense has been just about average allowing 3 goals per game. Calagary’s offense is averaging less than 3 goals per game. The Capitals have given up 3 goals in both their last two games. Look for the Capitals’s D to play stronger tonight as I am sure the coaches emphasized playing better D in preparing for tonights game. Take Washington to win outright.
